KOSHINO HOUSE
STUDY
DESIGN II
MIDTERM PROJECT
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this project was to evaluate and develop our graphic representation and model-making by studying and representing an existing a well documented building. The project deliverables include plans, sections, elevations, axonometric drawings, solar analysis, and a physical model. All of these items are hand-drawn and hand made to a specified scale, without the use of computer-aided-design.
WHAT I LEARNED
As one of our first explorations into the graphic standards of architecture, I learned a lot about the proper ways to represent buildings in many different ways. This was also my first time drafting, which was a fun and much needed exercise. I came across some trouble with determining the proper scale for my drawings and model, but luckily I was able to figure these issues out as the project intended.
*The design of this building belong to Tadao Ando, this is only my representation*
